- Name: Simon Morris Winheld
- Location: Brooklyn, New York, United States
As an illustrator, I am most inspired by dramatic stories and themes. I love to take a concept, however broad or abstract, and convey it through character and setting, color, light and shadow. My goal is to heighten the drama of the scene while still portraying the truth of the story. In addition to illustration, I am also an actor, and I think this informs my style and approach to making a picture.

chess is a mind game right? it would be kinda nice if the rook gets caught up in some sort of government issue or medieval dispute (whatever suits your fancy...) kinda like prison break, or 24 or whatever... anyway, it was just a thought... :P
