I'm still working on this painting, based on the sketch below titled "Rocknroll". (I hope to have the finished piece up within a week, depending on some other work I have to finish.)

- Simon Morris Winheld
- As an illustrator, I am most inspired by dramatic stories and themes. I love to take a concept, however broad or abstract, and convey it through character and setting, color, light and shadow. My goal is to heighten the drama of the scene while still portraying the truth of the story. In addition to illustration, I am also an actor, and I think this informs my style and approach to making a picture.
